Substitute Assistant Teachers
Join our talented team in an established American Montessori Society full member school where we inspire children to become intrinsically motivated lifelong learners with excellent problem-solving skills! Enjoy our respectful and collaborative team with highly supportive leadership. We are looking for patient, nurturing staff members who are willing to learn and guide children 15 months to 6 years of age on their journey to independence. Our World Montessori is currently seeking part-time substitute teachers with availability between the hours of  7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.  The Assistant Teacher is a valuable member of a team and is responsible for assisting the Head Teacher in maintaining a nurturing and peaceful educational environment.

A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred, but other degrees and Associate’s degrees will be considered. This opportunity is ongoing and is great for individuals who have experience working with young children and a keen interest in early childhood development. We seek staff members that are looking for a career and not a job that will be with us for the long-term. Compensation will vary according to education and experience, however, pay begins at $10.40 per hour for applicants without a Bachelor’s degree. Please send cover letter indicating interest in the position as well as an updated resume in order to be considered for the position. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

*Please send both resume and cover letter to Diane Lanci, Head of School at:        owmontessori@gmail.com
