School Year:
This is the typical ten month school year calendar from September through mid-June. This option does not include enrichment days over school breaks or child care during phase-in, parent teacher conference days or professional development days. Families can add students into individual enrichment days on an as needed/desired basis. This option is available 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
All-Inclusive School Year:
This calendar includes all days from the first day of school in September through the last day of each school year. This covers child care during phase-in (wrap around phase-in classroom schedules), all offered enrichment days, child care on parent teacher conference days, and professional development days. Typically, we do not offer Enrichment Days on the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July. This option is available for 5 days per week only.
Year Round:
This option begins on the first day of the summer program in June and runs for a full calendar year with some exceptions noted below. It includes the entire summer program, child care during academic year set-up and clean-up weeks, school year phase-in (wrap around phase-in classroom schedules), all offered enrichment days, child care on parent teacher conference days, and professional development days. Typically, we do not offer Enrichment Days on the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July. Please note that we are also closed annually for one week near the end of August when the school’s floors and carpets are professionally cleaned. We provide advanced notice of this week to all families (for August 2011 we will be closed the week of August 22-26). This option is available for 5 days per week only.
